Why Should You Bundle Your Insurance Policies?

The next time your insurance agent asks if you want to bundle your policies, answer yes! Why? Bundled policies have many perks that you may not be aware of.  Do you want to get the most from your insurance and financial services? Texas, take notes! Here are a few reasons why you should bundle your policies

#1: Save money. If you look into multiple policies with the same company, you are eligible for discounts. An insurance company will reward you if you are a loyal customer- they want to keep you around for as long as they can! Have a few cars? Have a home? Have a family and need life insurance? The more you add, the more the discounts will add up. We offer a stackable discount with life insurance, on both home and auto which can be taken advantage of for additional savings.

#2: Easy to keep track. With one company taking care of your needs, it’s easy to keep track of your bills. If you work with 4 different companies, things may start to get messy!

#3: Avoid coverage gaps. With a bundled policy, you will know exactly what you are covered from, without any gaps. The most popular bundle is usually home, auto and life insurance- the 3 most important!

At Dagley Insurance & Financial Services, we want to see you save money. Bundled policies are a sure way to get the insurance you need for a better price! Have other insurance needs? From simple policies such as health insurance to specific policies such as Texas and Colorado renters insurance and business insurance, we will have you covered! If you have not looked into a life insurance policy just yet, for example, it may be time to. September was just Life Insurance Month, and it’s an important policy for both you and your family. Ask us how you can save with a stackable life insurance discount with both your home and auto today.

The TOP 5 Reasons You Should Purchase Life Insurance

It’s week two of Life Insurance Awareness Month and we are just getting started! With so many people without life insurance, it’s crucial to speak about the importance of it. It should be a priority when looking into insurance and financial services. Texas residents, pay attention!

Here are the top 5 reasons why you should purchase life insurance:

#1: For your spouse. If you should leave your spouse behind, you leave them with less income. Without life insurance, your spouse may not make enough money to support the home or family anymore. This may result in the loss of home and possessions.

#2: For your children. If you should pass, your children will still want to go to college. Without life insurance, they may be denied that chance because of financial troubles.

#3: To cover funeral expenses. Without life insurance, you burden your family with funeral fees. That is the last thing they need during a time of grief.

#4: To pay off taxes and debt. Just because you have passed, doesn’t mean your debt will go away.

#5: You can personalize. Life insurance policies, such a term life, are able to fit your specific needs.

We take this month seriously at Dagley Insurance & Financial Services. Texas residents should too! Life is too short to have to worry about the unexpected. Trust us- you will feel much better knowing that your family is secure if something were to happen. Now go out and live your life!

Celebrate Life Insurance Awareness Month!

The month of September is a time to celebrate so much! Not only the change of the season, but take time to celebrate your life during life insurance awareness month. Why would we want to dedicate a month to insurance? Well- do you know how many people do not have reliable life insurance coverage? Over the years, the purchasing of life insurance has been on the decline. It’s scary to think that people do not realize how important it is to protect themselves and their families if something should happen to them.

Life insurance is so important, and here is why:

#1: Your family. What would happen if you died today? Would your children be able to live in the same house? Would your spouses’ salary cover the cost of living? And if you are a single parent, what would happen to your children? Without a life insurance policy, you could affect their lives more than you can imagine. A happy home could turn sour in the drop of a hat.

#2: Your debts. If you should pass away, some of your debts may not go away. Why would anyone want to burden another person with that?

#3: Live stress-free. If you know that you are covered in the event of death, you will not have to worry about what happens when you are gone. Living a stress-free life will not only boost your health but may keep you around longer.

This is your life we are talking about. It is nothing like auto insurance or home insurance where your valuables are covered. This is so much more than that. Taking care of your family should be the number one priority in your life- it is time to show them that! We will be celebrating this life insurance month at Dagley Insurance & Financial Services. Texas, we hope you will celebrate along with us!

5 Safety Tips for Your Morning Commute

Now that school is in session, the morning commute just got crowded! The morning drive may seem like a rush sometime because everyone has a place to be. However, it is important that you still drive safely- especially when you are taking children to school in the morning!

Here are a few safety tips to keep in mind this school year:

#1: Never pass a stopped bus. If a bus has its stop sign out and flashing red lights, it is illegal to pass them.

#2: Slow down in school zones. The speed limit will suddenly drop and for good reason. There could be students crossing…keep a watchful eye!

#3: No distractions. If you have younger children, be sure to express the importance of no distractions. This means they should be on their best behavior in the back seat!

#4: Review your auto insurance policy. Make sure you have Texas car insurance in the event of an accident. The morning commute can get hectic.

#5: Buckle up. Teach your children the importance of their seat belt and enforce it.

Let’s start the school year off on the right foot and spread these safety rules. At Dagley Insurance & Financial Services, we believe that our children should learn about driving safety at a young age. It’s important to set a good example! It’s also important to make sure you look into Texas car insurance. With our financial services, Texas residents will be covered in the event of a collision. You can choose from a variety of policies, including: bodily injury liability, medical or personal injury protection, property damage liability, collision, comprehensive and much more. You never know when an unexpected accident is going to hold up your commute. Stay safe and enjoy the school year!

Study, Parties, Ramen Noodles…and Auto Insurance?

There is only a week left in August, can you believe it’s already time for school? It’s crazy how fast the time goes by…and now your child is a freshman in college! That means a few things. For starters, there is no doubt it is going to be weird not having them around all the time. However, it also means it is time to teach them to be safe on campus, lecture them about drinking and driving, and look into their auto insurance policy. Let’s face it- the last thing your teenager is thinking about is their auto insurance policy! But going away to college means savings…do we have your attention now?

If your student is going away to college, this mean could mean a few things:

#1: Your child will not be driving a car. If your child is not driving for the next few months, the student can be listed as away at college with no car, or excluded from the policy all together, when away, in some cases. We will work with you to lower your costs for an immobile vehicle.

#2: Your child is taking the car with them. It’s important to make sure you change the garaging address to reflect where your student is now located. Rates could be better at the school address!

#3: Your child is a great student. If your child has a GPA of 3.0 or higher, you may be eligible for a “good student discount”!

#4: Your child is renting a house near campus. Consider your student’s personal possessions; do they need renters insurance for belongings at a dorm, apartment or rented house?

#5: Giving a car to your student or graduate? Have them call us today as they may still be eligible to recieve benefits and save in some cases.

This may seem like a lot to take in, but a change in your household means a change in your policy…for the better! It is important that you know about these breaks you can take advantage of, which is why we are here to help with our financial services. Texas residents are encouraged to speak with one of our insurance professionals to find out what discounts may apply to their situation.
