This Year, Save Money on Your Business Insurance!

Are you ready to start saving in 2012? Let’s start with your business insurance! As your reliable Texas insurance agency, we have a few tips to offer.

Here are five ways to save on your business insurance:

#1: Choose a higher deductible. By choosing a high deductible, you may need to pay extra once an accident occurs, but your premium will be lower. Many businesses can afford the higher deductible.

#2: Take advantage of group rates. The bigger the group, the more savings! If you are a part of an organization, you can often get a group rating. Be sure to check with your local chamber of commerce!

#3: Improve safety in the workplace. Having extra safety features such as training programs and even a security system may help reduce your premium. Make sure your agent knows about these features!

#4: Reduce your coverage. Sounds weird, right? However, while your company needs coverage that does not mean that it needs EVERY single policy. Make sure you speak with your Texas insurance agency about putting the proper coverage in place without overdoing it.

#5: Consider relocation. Many times, your premium will be based on the location and area you are in. If your company is based in a high-crime or risky area, the premium will be much higher. It may be time to relocate!

There are always ways to save on your business insurance premium- you just have to do the research and make the proper changes. Good luck!

Should Your Restaurant Buy Organic This Season?

As a restaurant owner, you know how important it is to prepare for the busy season ahead! Between catering parties and changing up your menu, you are sure to be busy. However busy you may be, it is never too busy to make sure the quality of your food is nothing less than perfect. Has your business considered buying organic?

Buying organic ingredients for your kitchen is an easy way to perfect your best dishes. Here are a few reasons to go organic:

-Organic meat is healthier and fresher. The animals are raised in an organic and humane environment, which makes the meat much better for you!

-Shows customers that you care. By investing more money into organic products, you are showing your customers that you care about the quality of your ingredients.

-You protect the environment. The more people support organic products, the larger step w

e take towards saving our environment. The less chemicals the better!

-Support your locals. Restaurant owners can decide to buy fresh meat, eggs and other ingredients from a local farmer. This is a great way to team up with your community!

-Increase your profit. Sure, the products may be more expensive, but you will make up for your extra costs when it comes to sales. Americans are beginning to choose organic restaurants over chain restaurants.

With the holidays right around the corner, there is no better time to go organic! Your customers deserve the quality meal that they pay for. Going organic is a great way to show them that you are serving grade-A dishes.

In order to protect your fresh products, it may be a good idea to look into our restaurant liability insurance. Here at Dagley Insurance and Financial Services, we believe that the best restaurants deserve the best coverage. With this specialized policy, you will be covered from: general liability, kitchen equipment, food spoilage, liquor liability, workers compensation and much more.  Coverage during such a busy time is crucial; the last thing you need is an issue during the holidays!
